Problem installing modem

i tried installing a modem today, but i think something went wrong, because it didn't work.
the DSL LED kept blinking, but the connection to the PC is ok. but i still cannot go into the internet. can someone help?

I assume you are Singnet user?
Can you check that your username and password is correct.
Username - username@singet
Password - Double check that it's typed in correctly -
that's hostname and domain name issit?
because while installing, i didn't see any option besides that for me to type any information
i'm installing a linksys modem.
i left that blank because they say can leave blank. -
linksys modem comes with setup CD right? Just use the setup CD, choose Singnet and make sure you key in the correct login user id and password...Originally posted by dumbdumb!:that's hostname and domain name issit?

remember to add '@singnet' (without ' ') after your login name... -

Some other settings to take note
VPI/VCI - 0/100
Encapsulation - VC MUX
Domain Name: singnet.com.sg
Domain Name Server #1: 165.21.83.88
Domain Name Server #2: 165.21.100.88 -
... if you have forgotten your user id and password, call from the tel line connected to your BB to Tech help (24 hrs or open till midnight) and change it...
