Error when using IE7

  I sometimes get the above message, and when that happens, it recurs until I opened IE again. How do I correct this? Thanks.

  I don't like the look of this.
  
  Can you update all your antivirus and antispyware and scan your system.

  Eh, wait. IE7, you sure boh?
  
  IE7 = iexplore.exe
  
  explorer.exe = Windows GUI and Windows Explorer.
  
  Try ending explorer.exe and you will see nothing except the desktop background.

  Should be bah, cuz I copy and paste the error nessage.
  
  I'm using Norton Internet Security (comes with the notebook), and I ran a scan just now. According to Norton everything is in place.
  
  Mayi help! New lappie I dun want spoil only after 1 week.

  Hmm... can you just update and scan?
  
  Otherwise, just remove Norton.

  And get another antivirus + firewall.
  
  Norton crashes lots of things which probably takes another Norton user to figure out.

  Remove Norton and see if it still crashes.
  
  If it does... it's Norton.

  Explorer is Windows GUI. To put it simply, it's Windows clothes. Close that and you are just left with your desktop wallpaper.

  Yup I realise after muddling about.

  Now I don't open my computer anymore.

  since ur laptop is quite new...use recovery disc and do complete recovery and see if U get the same problem...better solve the issue now than to wait until U have lots of files...

  Ok I'll do that. When I run in safe mode right, the problem doesn't recur.

  probably one of the libraries causing u problems.  Do you get any warning or critical errors on ur event viewer?

  Because I doubt if those files are loaded into explorer as compared to when you are using it in Normal Mode. In Normal Mode, more files are loaded. Safe Mode, only the bare minimum.
