If it's still under 1 year, it's probably still under warranty.
FYI, graphics card burn very fast. My first one lasted less than 1 year, fortunately it was under warranty then. I sent it for repairs, when I got it back I gave it to my cousin. He finally damaged it under 4 months. -

Just bring your motherboard to distributor to test, see if it's still working.
Same with graphics card.
Unless you are filthy rich and money is immaterial to you. Then by all means get a new PC. -
i think i will probably let the PC rot since i don't use it other than to d/l music albums with BT

u see, i said previously that when i switch on my main power, i usually need to press the on button on the casing then the pc starts.
but now, i switch on the main power, the pc starts running, is there some sort of reset i can do? -
I've got no idea... all my old boxes work the same way as yours.
