Just note that Safari 3 is a beta while FF2r11 is a stable. If you really want compare, then compare Safari 3 with FF3b2.
Though to me FF will always be my preferred browser. -
Firefox. There are addons which can further improve the security of Firefox.
The other browsers seem more secure than Firefox or IE because they are not popular. Attackers want the biggest impact, not smallest impact, thus attacking IE and FF is the way to go. -

cos i'm not going for browsers which are popular or not, i'm going for browsers that are more secure than firefox or IE for that matter..
if firefox is the more secure one so far, i would stick to it still.
cos i discovered safari 3 beta recently and i liked it too.
can't really decide which one is better though... -

but like what mayi have said, FF has alot of addons that enhance browser security. Stuff like NoScript and AdBlockPlus makes FF a stronger in security than other browsers. You cant find another browser that has such a large community supporting it, imho. -
I would say FireFox. The security is good and quite fast actually (although the startup is a bit slow)

There are indeed a lot of exploits against Firefox, but fixes are fast and the developer of NoScript always kept up with it and improved his NoScript to protect Firefox.
You could never find something better.
