Why The Media Player Sound Quality Like That One??

  I want to listen to some music.
  
  I turned on my media player. But the sound quality suddenly became rusty and husky.
  
  I tried playing movie in VLC player. Sound ok.
  
  I go youtube and many other sites with sounds. All ok.
  
  So I don't think something is wrong with my speaker....
  
  Help...?

  I would wonder why it only affects WMP and not the rest...
  
  Unless... someone messed with the WMP settings... not Windows native sound settings...
