Singnet issued wireless routers

  My current wireless router is 2wire 2700 HGD which is issued by Singnet when I subscribed for it. Now it has gone hay-wire and my friend has a spare one which is also issued by Singnet. But the model is different. Wondering if his spare one is compatible to use as well?

  both should work, are u using mio voice? if yes the modem must be ADSL2+
