What will happen when i do this...

1. right click My Computer or open control panel click administrative tools then computer management
2. Click manager
3. Click device manager
4. Click the + by Computer
5. Right click ACPI Multiprocessor PC
6. Click update driver
7. Do install from a list or specific location (advanced)
8. Then click dont search. i will choose the driver to install
9. Select the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface(ACPI)PC
10. go on with the installation and restart computer
that should fix it
and
1. Go to my computer and right click and select properties
2. Go to the advanced tab
3. Click on settings in the startup and recovery box
4. Click edit and change your boot.ini
[boot loader]
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOW S
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="WADEVA OS U USING" /noexecute=AlwaysOff /fastdetect -
First one - if all goes well, you should be able to boot up.
Second one - You can be sure you won't be able to boot up unless done correctly. Windows boot.ini file is one heck to understand and decipher. -

Usually, it doesn't have side effects. But sometimes... due to some quirks of Windows... if the update process didn't complete successfully, you won't be able to boot up.
