internet explorer dieded on me???????

  dunno what happened to my internet explorer.....
  it just keeps on showing 'internet explorer cannot open the webpage'
  but...i need to use internet explorerrrrrr!!!
  because when i click on links, sometimes it opens in IE....=\
  and i dunno how to change that. haha

  make mozilla firefox as ur default browser and it will open most links in firefox.

  1) there is no internet connection at all
  
  2) check ur internet connection setting correct or not
  
  3) U have not pay ur internet bills, please proceed to pay ur bill with the internet provider.

  Well at least it happen in my case. The network connection show I am connect, but i am unable to surf the net. Check with the serice provider and found the bills have not been paid.

  are you able to use other internet utilities? (eg. msn messenger)
  
  have you tried to use other browser to see can surf or not?
  
  or try to put in proxy for IE

  I think it might be caused by a proxy, especially a proxy configured just for internal use, like schools or businesses.
  
  1. Open IE
  
  2. Click on Tools > Internet Options
  
  3. Select the Connections tab
  
  4. Click on the LAN Settings button
  
  5. Under Proxy Server section, is this box ticked? - Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections)

  If it's from a company or school, please make sure that the settings are not tweaked. Companies and schools have policies that apply to IE, but not any other browsers, which is why they work fine.

  tools > options > main > tick "always check to see if FF is the default browser on startup" > then click "check now" > click yes
