Desktop icon

  Hi,
  A desktop icon appeared on my desktop after I cleared up some unused icons and put them in a folder. It has no name and when I right-click it there are only 3 options - cut, create shortcut and delete. How do I repair this?

  Yah, but I'm afraid it might be a system file.

  Delete it. Move it to the Recycle Bin. If you can't boot up afterwards, you know it's bad.

  System files don't appear on the desktop.
