You may have many programs being ran at system startup. Goto Start > Run > msconfig > Startup tab and uncheck programs that you deem unnecessary. If you are unsure what a program does, Google its name or command.Originally posted by rpgragnarok:where do i find that? how to increase it?
btw, could it be bugs that caused my com to boot so slowly? cause i see my friend's could boot up in less than 10 or 20secs
Right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Settings > Advanced > Virtual Memory section - Change > Select "Custom Size" and set it appropiately. To reduce data fragmentation, set the Min and Max to the same value. The default would be 1.5x of the size of your physical RAM.Originally posted by rpgragnarok:where do i find that? how to increase it?
