I think tamago taught me before that nowadays you can type in Chinese characters by changing the language settings in your Control Panel, but have to use MS Word..

As for TS, go to:
Start > Control Panel > Regional and Languange Options > Languages, click on details. Go and add Chinese PRC as input.
If prompted to put in XP CD, do so.
