How to remove symantec antivirus

I know the usual add/remove program but it hang and now the icon missing from the list and the antivirus still in my system...
wonder if there is any way to remove it manually... -

go to the symantec folder and look for uninst.exe or something like tht

Try liao... Don't have uninstaller file in the folder leh...

Sianz~ Just went IT helpdesk this morning to reformat my computer due to the non responding uninstall of Symantec antivirus and I think my com also got virus as symantec keep shutting my IE and detecting VBS.Zodgila in my system...
KNN... need to self service... Stuck here for the whole morning till now... dunno whether I come school to study or to format my com.
dunno why they have IT personnel here for? to collect salary only??? -
what i do is to access C drive and delete the whole damm file

Symantec can't resolve the problem. try their solution on internet but did not help at all... so reformat seems to be the best alternative.
Anyway, why my run advertise program cannot retrieve programs liao huh? -
reformat your c-drive. make sure u clear any infected files in your secondary drive eg D b4 u reformat.

I reformat the whole hardisk... spare no files...
