my com Ethernet port got problem

  Try out the modem first, without the router. See if can work.
  
  See if your computer can detect the ethenet.
  
  Did you install the modem software on to your computer?

  try with the modem without router already cannot

  Wait wait, don't go first. Maybe it's missing a driver. Try installing it through Device Manager and see if it helps.

  1. Go to Device Manager.
  
  2. Look for a device that has the word "Ethernet" in its name. If there isn't any, see if there's any device that has a ? or a ! for its icon. Then try google the name for its driver. Anything you are unsure of, just post back here.
