Need help in finding an Email Client!

  Hi guys,
  
  I require an email client that is able to allow multiple users real time to access the same mail box across the local area network.
  
  I've tried Thunderbird and Outlook express but in vain.
  
  When Thunderbird starts, the client will require write access to the email storage and will initial some start up files. So the second client will not have write access to the email sotrage files, further more it cant create the initial start up file.
  
  Outlook Express can not save/store/read emails from a shared folder across a LAN. I tried to map the network drive but it still does not work.
  
  Please help me thankyou./

  Then exhange server is not a option then right?

  set all clients to leave messages on the server?
  
  then one terminal will remove all messages at the end of the day...

  how about you tell all the clients to set the option, leave in server after retrieving? I don't know if after an account accesses it, whether the second account can retrieve the same mail.
  
  Another alternative is to upload the mail into the webmail, then as long as they have the user id / password everyone can log in at the same time...

  haha I justs aw this... use IMAP instead of POP3?

  MS Exchange server should be using IMAP rather than POP3.
