My laptop LCD mati-ed.

my laptop now half of the screen is cracked.. Internal de crack.. no external de... er.. if u all noe wad i toking hahahh..
Eh.. Is there anyway to salvage? If not what is the cost like? My lappie brand is Packard Bell ( ya sucks..) i searched there web.. like no repair centre in SG.. Anyone got lobang to repair? -

how old is it? (years? or months)
Damaged cause by Accidents will not be included in the warranty,
the cost of it, is not gona be cheap too. if it's old, you might as well write it off and get a new one.

go warranty, act blur say didn't know what happened. When you were doing something on the comp, half way the LCD mati-ed. Then ask them how.

LCD screens are out of the scope of all laptop warranties.
This means no warranty. They may replace for you, but it's not FOC.
Be prepared to pay at least $300. -

hmm... i dun tink is cracked.. but there is a whole straight line of "dead" pixel in the middle of the LCD. I tink the cause of it is: my bf canot stand the dust on my LCD, so clean too hard..Originally posted by kenn3th:Cracked Lcd? -
