Hi again guys,
I am really confused and I would appreciate if any of you can help.
I currently have a Compaq Desktop bought all the way from 2004. Up till now, I have upgraded parts of it including Expanding RAM & Changing the DVD-ROM. But I would like to go a step further and upgrade the Graphics Card to something better.
Currently, my graphics card is an Intel 8XXXX series which only has 32MB of memory. Now, I want to upgrade the Graphics Card overall to a ATI Radeon or Nvidia. The problem is, I'm not sure how to.
Do I have to change my processor or motherboard or something? Or is it just a matter of plugging out the old card and replacing to a new one?
I would also want to upgrade my hard disk from 80GB to 120GB. Is it possible to just add into the CPU unit or do I have to actually throw my old one away and add the new one?
My system specs are as follows:
Compaq Presario SR1238AP
Pentium 4 2.8GHz
768 MB of DDR Ram
Your help is really, really, really appreciated.
