Most likely a CSS issue. Otherwise, JavaScript. IE6, IE7, Mozilla and Opera all have a way of rendering those codes. This is what you get for browsers wars and when developers don't code according to standards. Not much difference, both are still browsers. Only difference - the other one doesn't use ActiveX, which IE does.
