acer laptop keyboard

does anyone knows roughly the price of an acer laptop keyboard?
becos some of the keys on my keyboard aren't working well so maybe i'll head down to acer to get it fixed.
as my warranty is over, i am wondering how much i have to pay, or are they any other places or alternatives ?

or you use your old usb keyboards to type.
if u need to get one, then i would recc those mini keyboards that feel exactly like the keyboards of laptops. it costs about 19.90 @ challenger. -
no la, actually the problem is with my f6 key. i cant press it, but sometimes its like pressed on its own. try pressing f6 repeatedly, its very irritating to type when the f6 key is repeatedly pressed.

or are there any programs for me to disable certain keys?

under acer's management there shud have some thing to disable the keys.

changed my keyboard .. few months ago -
Buy external keyboard is cheaper. Why bother to fix it. My friend using it now.
His Fujitsu keyboard spoilt, no backspace, no spacebar, some functions button cannot work, and most importantly, the letter S can't work. So every time he types some sentence, it ends up looking odd without the Ses.

but problem is, although the F6 key doesn't work when i press it, sometimes, its like someone is holding on to your F6 key when ur doing ur work which makes it difficult to do work.
try getting someone holding on to the f6 key.
den enter some url in the browser. before you can even type finish, the f6 thingy will disturb v annoying.
so i have to type out in notepad, copy paste, v troublesome sometimes. -
hmm maybe TS should go to the repair centre and ask how much bah...then if its more expensive than an external keyboard, then buy one.
but imo, it will be v. embrassing to use the laptop outside with such a keyboard...

just pluck out that damm key.
And nothing will be pressing on the key anymore. the key and be easily placed back.
