Don't believe, try accessing the Group Policy (gpedit.msc)
There, follow the steps to tweak it, restart computer. Open Registry Editor, you should see the string NoRecentDocsMenu there. -

last time in another forums they say can change dunno wad, but i cant find it in my, last time i cannot get to gpedit.msc,

I've found a solution to it finally.
* Open the registry editor
* Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Advanced
* Set the value of “Start_ShowRecentDocs” to one of the following values:
Value of 0 - List my most recently opened documents is disabled
Value of 2 - List my most recently opened documents is enabled
Hope this comes in handy for anyone who wants to display recent documents as well
