How to keep email account alive?

  Hi to all, I'm thinking of creating multiple E-mail account for work purpose. But from what I know, if the account is not accessed for a period of time, it will be automatically and temporary deactivated until you reactivate it again. Is there anyway to prevent it from being deactivated if it is not accessed for some period of time? Like mail forwarding and stuff.

  If you require e-mail accounts for work purposes, why not consider paid e-mail hosting services? Most would allow you to create unlimited number of e-mail addresses under a fixed amount of disk space.

  fwd the email to another email address.

  i dun tink so... mail fwding is to prevent your acct from being deactivated, that is what i saw from yahoo..

  yahoo i think 3 mths nvr use will be de-activated, but just one click and it will be re-activated
  
  gmail hao xiang is more than 3 months... becos got 1 a/c of mine (gmail)... last accessed was july... yesterday i went in and it was still active...

  Gmail like no expiry... I check my other accounts once in a blue month.
  
  The rest, I check every one month to prevent it from dying...
