Help! Weird Computer Problem!!!

Ok previously this was my post.
recently couldn't boot up my com as it kept going to the page your com was not shut down properly etc.. safe mode, safe mode with command, normal etc..
Everytime i select ANY of those options, the com just restarts and comes back to the same menu..
so ok.. i left the com on... then SUDDENLY.. it managed to break through to windows..
so i quickly saved all my data..
just finished saving.. inserted XP disc and shut the com down..
BUT MY COM JUST GIVES THIS SUPERB FAST LOADING BAR AND IT GOES STARIGHT TO THE WINDOWS LOADING SCREEN!!! I GOT NO OPPORTUNITY TO PRESS ANY KEY TO GO TO THE FORMAT SETUP!! ARGH HELP ME!!!
btw fyi, i just changed my master drive.

NOW, i just formatted, i restarted my com and the error came back!! I thought it might be hardisk drive failure BUT the CPU didnt give me any warning beeps.. how? What to do? -

u tried running chkdsk? Installed any new hardware?

During the installation of Windows, did you get any errors?

Actually this problem only surfaced after i installed my LG Dvd Drive but before that, my com sometimes restarted by itself while playing games..
No errors during windows installation. My harddisc is Maxtor 150GB.. it's relative new as i RMA it in june and they gave me a "sealed new one".
If it's the motherboard's problem, will the pc give me any beeping warnings?

Eh but like, i managed to start my com using the new drive.. just that after a day of using it, i went back to the safe mode normal etc screen..
Plus my com kept on restarting itself before i even inserted the drive le.. -

Do you have a spare PC?
Take out the LG DVD drive, plug it in to the spare PC. Let it work for a few days. See if it causes problems. If no problems, repeat for the other hardware.
If all are working fine... your motherboard may go anytime.... -
I have precisely the same problem with my acer notebook.
When i boot the computer, it goes to the choose safe mode or normal and another thing menu.
After i choose one, it shows the window and the XP loading screen and after that, goes back to the safe mode choosing screen again.
i didnt install anything and this happens suddenly. I was using it 2 weeks ago and my computer suddenly blacked out. i turn it on again and here it goes. -

hey the problem is permanant now.. i cant boot windows.. formatted alrdy still cannot.. keep coming to that safe mode, normal mode etc page..
should i RMA my motherboard?

Hard disk and motherboard could be worth a check.

Are you able to enter BIOS?

now when i boot up, it just goes to the safe mode, windows mode page.. really irritating.
can i send the motherboard for RMA? How many years is the warranty?

Usually it's one year warranty. Check your warranty card.

Motherboards don't have life-time warranty. How are businesses going to survive if they give out life-time warranties? -
custom made if u buy the parts make urself no warranty one..or the ppl help u make?
