  You need to buy a domain first.
  
  Do you have one?
  
  If you are using Blogspot, log in to Blogspot and follow the instructions there.
  
  For other blogs, not sure.

  You will need web hosting as well, and point your domain over to their nameservers. If your intended audience are mainly Singaporeans, get local web hosting. Otherwise, just get one budget, value-for-money one from a US web host.

  Seems like you have already added the CNAME record and DNS propogation is pretty much complete. So basically you just need to skip to the "Blogger Settings" section in that article and continue from there.
  
  Just a note, did you use royystonn.com or www.royyston.com for the CNAME record? If it is the latter, you may need to input "www." in the Blogspot settings as well. And imo, people generally prefer URLs without that "www." prefix.

  Have you checked whether you are using the "www." prefix on both the CNAME record and the Blogspot domain setting?

  er its not about the www prefix. its that both www.royystonn.com and royystonn.com didnt show up at all.

  And if you notice the favicon on the first screenshot, it is from Googlepages. It means that your domain is already pointing to Google's servers. I'm just wondering what will happen if someone else who reads this thread adds your domain to their Blogger account correctly. Hmm...

  If you intend to use Blogger for a long time, it will probably mean that your domain will point to the hogger's blog until he/she relents. Your domain name control panel can't help you much in this case. You will then need to contact Blogspot's support team to resolve the issue, if they do bother to respond.

  i will try to approach them. but i doubt they will help.
  but from the control panel. we can redirect the CNAME.
  and wont associate it with google.

  Yup, if you plan to use an external web host for your blog instead.

  IF you are using Googleapps, for eg, the hosted by google mail, the there will be a little problem.
  
  1) Go to google apps home page www.google.com/a/yourdomainname
  2) Disable ALL services
  3) Enable ALL services again
  4) Create a page using Google Pages
  5) Disable google pages
  6) Reenable google pages.
  
  Should work.
