If u have lots of $
Get a 802.11N (speed is faster than the current max of 108 for G) instead of a G, but beware as N signals might drown out G signals.
But N routers are still able to support G Adaptors.
If u have the $, get a N Adaptor / wireless card for best surfing speeds (
like our ISP gives the best surfing speeds) -
I'm find with linksys, cause i have been using it for 2-3 years without any problems. Dunno why mayi dont like.

Wireless N can broadcast wireless G signals to communicate with wireless G adapters.. must well get a G router... save $$$

just get the adsl2+integrated wireless modem from singtel for the modem lor no need router le.
can get for like 65 bucks -

For others they simpily just on it through the night and have it last for 3 to 4 years.
It uses v-little electicity and the heat generated is quite low -
