Creative or Altec Lansing?

  the 2421 looks nicer, design wise. but the bass is weaker than a 2321's. the 2421 has built in mic on the control pod for skype/other stuff. =P

  maybe its your eq settings. the treble on an mx5021 is supposed to be very sharp, much sharper than any other altec. if you were trying to turn down the sharpness with eq. this could happen however, if your eq has the treble tuned down in the wrong amounts, it could result in losing the definition tat the MX5021 has.

  I have a VS2321 at home. Costs me around $65, and yes, the music is very clear. In fact, I rate it quite similar to Bose companion system.
  
  But VS2321 suffers from Wifi interference. It will have an annoying clicking sound if you have a wireless modem near it, or if you have incoming/outgoing phone calls.

  LOL.. generally most altec systems got farting noises when you get calls or smses, but there are some real silent ones, like the VS2320

  VS4121 have anti magnetic field shield also, so i dun get those annoying sounds when i place my hp nearby
