Hi guys,
Need some expert recommendation from you.
I dunno why my desktop die on me. I jus recently re format it then 2 day ago as i was using it, it suddenly went blank and from there on i cannot on it anymore. I tried to open the casing and do some troubleshooting myself but unfortunately my skill is quite private ltd. So i think i need some specialised help. Anyone can recommend a gd computer shop tt i can send to?? I am staying in Bedok is there any gd and cheap shop to recommend??

did u check if the cables connecting each parts are properly connected?
Did ur PSU spoil?
or ur motherboard's battery ran out?
did the main plug fused?
this may cause ur com not able to start... -
Have you checked powercables plugged properly to your machine, do you get any beep sound when you switch on your PC, may be your RAM has got corrupted.
There are many basic things which you should check for, i will suggest you to re-plug all your cables and check whether your machine gets up. -
I not expert, but I try to help if I can.
How old is your pc?
What type of CPU and RAM?
Cannot turn ON means what? Not even memory count? Any beeping noise when you power ON? -
Do you have a spare PC?
Take out the PSU, plug it to the spare PC. Does the spare PC start up? -

Thank for the advice. I dun have a spare PC haha too bad...
Seriously i dun hear anything.. it is jus dead slience.. i only manage to catch one LED on. It is green in colour..
My PC is ard 11/2 yrs. it is a DIY computer.

It might not be power supply unit.
Early this year, I couldn't turn on my PC too, I brought my motherboard to the service center and they confirm it's ok. The only thing I figure could be damaged was my display card, because display cards gets damaged easily because of the heat. I replaced my display card and everything was alright.
If you have another display card, could try switching around and try to isolate the faulty device. If your PC was a DIY, suggest you bring the motherboard to the service center to confirm that it is working fine. If your display card is the same brand as your motherboard, you could bring it down for them to test too.
Did you update your bios? If you update your bios and didn't do it properly, could end up with a non functional motherboard.
Could try to reset the motherboard by shorting jumpers also. -
If the graphics card is gone case, it would produce beep errors.
But... I would guess some people build a PC without plugging in the sound part... resulting in no beeps at all... -

cause a suddenly switch off might shock some parts in your com. -

Not to worry, I had my pc speaker plugged into the correct jumper pin, else my pc would not have beep when I powered it when it was working fine.
With newer machines these days, if your graphics card is not plugged in, the pc won't even power on. Which supports my story that when the graphics card is burnt, the pc will not power on.
