Again this depends on the spec of the laptop, the more powerful your laptop(Standalone GPU), the lousier will the battery life be

all laptops widescreen nowadays? why no non-widescreen but standard res type of screen like 1024x768 or 1280x1024?

pretty okla..like the lightness..easy to bring around when troubleshooting routers and switches...
not as powerful as t60....t60 slightly more robust...
