Formatting Computer?

anyone is able to teach me how i can format computer? cause i don't have my XP CD, cannot find.
Is there anyway to create an XP CD?
cause last time i think i created wrong one, then went back to SP 1 -.-
i'm using an Acer computer btw. heard that there's a shortcut to reformat?

i use the recovery disc from fujitsu to format.

Acer usually give some recovery CDs. If you don't have, it's probably in a hidden partition. You need to activate it by pressing some buttons during boot up.

If you don't have Windows XP CD; What operating system do you intend to have after you format?
The recovery disc does not contain Windows XP for you to install. -
Recovery CDs installs the OS back, plus the other crap loaded in the Recovery CDs.

In my previous workplace, my boss wanted to install Windows with a recovery disc but to no avail. -
