Wireless router help

  I bought a planex wireless router that has the ability to switch from router to acess point.
  
  I am using the speedtouch modem given to me by singnet lats time.But after knowing that its also a router,i switch my planex router to ap only.
  
  Tried connecting my notebook to the internet through wireless but it cant connect.
  
  Its connected to my network but its not connected to the internet,tried repairing it and windows prompt that its connected to two access point.
  
  When i view the network list,true enough,i was connected to two networks,planex and planex2.Both shd be signals coming out from my router.
  
  How do i resolve this issue?

  But it dose not solve my problem.
  
  I am still getting two access point.So still unable to surf the net using my notebook.What shd i do?

  Give it a unique name, don't use the default.
