How to recover overwritten lost files?

i tried using the recovermyfiles software, but it couldnt recover those files that are overwritten.
are there alternative and better softwares out there?

If it doesn't work, try Runtime software. The only problem is with recovery. You want to recover, you pay. However, it can be bypassed. Open with another editor and save the files to your disk. Do for every file that you have. It's time consuming, but the only way to do it free.

Access Data costs a few thousands dollars.

If you have overwritten your files using the latest DOD standard, you can kiss goodbye to your files. -
overwrite i think 1 to 2 times at most at most..
