Hmm...but I don't think Opera munchs that much amount of RAM even when dealing with graphics-intensive sites. But anyway, everyone has their own preferences, so I'll just stick to my Opera and you to your Firefox.Originally posted by abao:opera is indeed the fastest loading browser, but my own testes doesnt show tt it is more resource friendly than the current FF.
Maybe for your case, Opera worked well. But I download tons of 3000x2000 (or larger) scans, mostly jpeg but sometimes png, and Opera wasnt much more efficient when using RAM for these cases.Originally posted by LatecomerX:Hmm...but I don't think Opera munchs that much amount of RAM even when dealing with graphics-intensive sites. And anyone not using Firefox should give Opera a try.
It's fast, no doubt. But I think pages load slower in Opera than on Firefox. About as bad as IE when it comes to loading pages.Originally posted by LatecomerX:I have an immense urge to advertise Opera again.

Safari is fast... but I don't like extra crap installed by it... like the Bonjour service... and I think some sites screw up in Safari more than Opera...Originally posted by hiphop2009:i using safari for windows xp on my laptop.
