i dled this cd image which is around 7gb big and it's in .mdf and .mds. so i'm supposed to use alcohol and burn them out to dvds or cds right? but when i try to burn them out it doesnt work. and it's only for this cd image. i tried making my own image and burning it and it works. so anyone knows what's the problem and how to solve it? thx in advance.

7GB is freaking huge for a CD image.
I think you should be a DVD instead. -
U sure that particular image U are having problems with...is not corrupted during download?

anyway. when i start the image burning wizard, they dont even have the options for me to choose the settings for the cd/dvd rom. so there's no difference for cd and dvd cause i cant get it started and i not sure if it's corrupted. and i hope it isnt. if hashcheck ok should be no problem right?

If i rmb correctly..u can use ultraiso and extract the files from de mds

okay... the programm hanged when i clicked extract. cause the file is too big? or my com too noob.
okay...after hanging for 5 minutes it started extracting. but after another 5 minutes it's still at 0%. most prob my com noob. -
I suppose it's a dual-layer DVD image since single-layer ones can only store up to 4.38 GiB or 4.7 GB. Try getting one and burn the image on it. (Eh but if it becomes a coaster dun blame me hor. )
