Got any data drive?

If you have a spare partition, copy all your songs to the spare partition.
If you have none, either burn it to a disc or copy to your external HDD or whatever medium you have.
If you have none, email and file servers are your friends. -

hmm if i want to upgrade my OS from win2000 to XP, i only need to format my C drive right? or I have to reformat my entire computer. i have 8 logical drives

Just format the partition that Windows is installed in. If you happened to install programs on other partitions, they have to be formatted as well, otherwise, the programs will have problems running. -

Just format the partition that Windows is installed in. If you happened to install programs on other partitions, they have to be formatted as well, otherwise, the programs will have problems running.
