Thumbdrive virus in school coms

  Beware of this Win32 silly something virus.
  
  Once infected u will have 15 mins to terminate or else auto shutdown.
  
  U won't b able to use task manager to shut it because the virus prevents u from opening up.
  
  I got it from my thumbdrive and now it affects my com.
  
  I manage to stop it but can't remove it.
  
  MAYI, any suggestion? need your help

  MSCONFIG, dont let it start.
  
  The real thumbdrive virus is the one with the AUTORUN thingy... Copy.exe
  If you hit that, your .exe files get corrupted. If im not wrong, the one you hit IS copy.exe virus, but it had infected your window files, that is why you cannot go more then 15mins on the com.
  
  If you wanna remove it, try using Kaspersky. It works for me.

  Start in safe mode and scan with an antivirus like Kaspersky AV. If you can identify the virus, search on Google for methods on removing it manually. If all else fails, the traditional re-formating works the best.
  
  Regardless of what you do, don't forget to backup important data and format your thumb-drive to get rid of that virus.

  No Task Manager, got alternative Task Manager.

  End the task, delete the files and perform a virus scan.
  
  When you plug in the thumbdrive, stop it from auto running by pressing the Shift key.
  
  And if really so suay can't do anything, grab the files from your home, burn it to CD and bring it to school to use.
