Acer desktop cant connect to starhub/wirlesss

Is it turn on? Desktop built-in wireless aren't turned on by default if I'm not wrong.

when you first subscribe to Starhub, during the setup, the engineer might have enable wireless filtering.
This wireless filtering allows only those whose Mac address is configured to be able to access the web.
Follow the steps below
only if your desktop is a new one and haven setup yet.
Make sure u have another desktop that can access the web. -
Type in the command line “ipconfig /all” and press enter.
The MAC address is the physical address that is shown under the Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection header. Note that some computers may have more than one physical address - make sure you have given the one for your Local Area Connection. -
Note In Order To Do The Next few Steps U need 2 desktops. one able to access the net the other not able.
USE INTERNET EXPLORER on the one which can surf the net
type 192.168.1.1
pop-up
user: blank
Pass:Admin
Then u will come to a screen.
Click wireless tab,
Mac Filtering
Then Add On The MAC address of the com nt able to enter on no2.
Save changes.close. done -
