How To Remove URL in the Dropdown Bar

  On the dropdown bar, there are things that I don't want to appear. I press Ctrl Delete also they cannot be removed. How to remove them?
  
  And how not to have these things appear there in the first place?
  
  I think this is the latest version of IE...

  i dunno how to delete specific ones, but to delete all of them jsut clear history and cache

  Select the URL, press Shift + Delete.

  I should add. Don't click on the URL. Point your mouse over it and press Shift + Delete.

  right click on your bottom toolbAR..go to to taskbar and start menu properties..go to start menu tab..then go to classic start menu and choose customize...after that, click clear on your records of recently accessed documents, programs and websites..then ok liao..

  the shift+delete method dun work for IE7, or at least for me
