  ok. im trying to facebook and stuff, and there are like 5 computers on the router right now, and speeds are DAMN SLOW.
  i'm on starhub's ultimate plan, how do i surf net faster.

  and yes, my ff got change the settings to make it faster alr, acc to mayi's sticky on ff.

  Cable always faster. Wireless sometime will drop from time to time.
  
  You can try booting up the other pcs and set their download speed to around 6kb each instead
  
  So they will be surfing at dial up speed and be complaining like mad.

  not stupid suggestions
  having so many computers connecting to 1 wireless point will slow down.

  Is it just slow when you use FaceBook?
  
  When I'm on FaceBook, the speed is very slow too, but on other sites the speed is fine.

  Starhub splits everything, off those PC is your answer. But you are using laptop right? Just get your laptop there and connect... if possible.

  Are you sure it's just 5 computers? Your neighbours might be downloading movies through your fat green pipe as well.
