moving files from one com to another

  i got one laptop and desktop, wanna move files to the laptop, no portable hdd, my fren borrow. so how to i transfer files from desk to lap? can use router ?

  thumbdrive, DVD-RW, CD-RW
  copy the files inside then copy them into ur lappie

  you got wireless network?
  
  open a share folder, use your laptop to access then copy the file over.

  Use network cable.

  Share files, use cable, upload to a file server, burn to CD/DVD, thumbdrive.
  
  If your desktop has an Infrared or Bluetooth addon, use that.
