what can i get if i want a portable hard disk with at least 200gb capacity? one that's plug in and play kind? i've seen those 3.5" ones and they are alright but the range of prices are like crazy. at challenger i saw some just above $200 and there's those around $500.

how much does those cost and the capacity?Originally posted by pada006:Just buy a normal SATA or IDE 3.5" hard disk with a USB HDD enclosure. Much cheaper than those "external hard disk" sold as a product by itself.
It works the same as thumb drive. If you know how to use usb thumb drive u will know how to use the hdd.
