Windows vista desktop problem...

  I dun really know how to describe this problem, but it happens randomly. Out of nowhere my taskbar icons will get all jumbled up and i can't click on them properly, the start button also cannot click. every programme is basically running except it looks completely jumbled up and becomes unclickable. the only solution is to manually switch my laptop off.
  
  anyone having these problems too?

  Some fixes:
  
  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to bring up Task Manager.
  
  2. Locate Explorer.exe and click on End Process.
  
  3. Click on File > New Task (Run...)
  
  4. Type in explorer.exe and press Enter.
  
  Then see if it works.

  i think i noe where the problem lies
  i oso tio like ur kind of situation be4
  mine is everytime i run a program (.exe), the stupid UAC (User Account Control) take welli welli long to come out, causing mi to not be able to click anything on the desktop
  so i go disable UAC, problem solved
  
  either tat or maybe u r deleting/moving/copying some files, the thing haven finish then u cannot click on desktop

  I got this problem sometimes. Its like I sometimes I open too many Windows files or Internet Explorer, the next moment the menu bar on top will disapear.
  
  Then I can't right click on the Internet Explorer anymore. And when I wanted to open files such as Documents, My Computer, Windows Media Player, I can't open them at all. No choice got to restart my whole comp sometimes.
  
  and yeah, still finding ways to solve it.
