Any program that can recover data from bad sector?

  Last time used to have scandisk but now where can I find such program?

  Now is chkdsk.

  but that do not move the data out of the bad sector, does it?

  Apparently, it tries to fix and sometimes causes more problems than ever.
  
  And ya, it doesn't move data out of the bad sector.
  
  The one utility I heard of is SpinRite.
