Keep getting 'Adobe Flash Player' pop-up

  While surfing sgforums, i keep having this blocked pop-up message:
  
  "This site might require the following ActiveX control: 'Adobe Flash Player' from 'Adobe Systems Incorporated'. Click here to install..."
  
  But microsoft recommened NOT to install....
  
  but then i will continue to have blocked pop-up non-stop...
  
  so how? Install or don't install?

  Install this and restart IE.
