Laptop Problem

My laptop was going low batt and it just hibernate. So i just leave it. I left my laptop charger at home. 4 hours plus later when i charging my laptop at home i unable to switch on my laptop. What's wrong? Is the laptop spolit?

Either adaptor spoilt or you never on the switch...
