Windows XP SP3 To Include Some Vista Features

A website that leaked details of Windows XP Service Pack 3 over the weekend claimed that the update includes several new features, including some borrowed from Windows Vista.
According to NeoSmart Technologies, Windows XP SP3 build 3205, which was released to beta testers on Sunday, includes four new features among the 1,000-plus individual hot fixes and patches that have been issued since SP2Â’s debut three years ago.
Features backported from Vista, said NeoSmart, include Network Access Protection (NAP), an enterprise policy enforcement technology that inspects client PCs before they access a corporate network, then updates the machines if necessary or blocks them if they donÂ’t meet specified security criteria.

Kernel Mode Cryptographics Module. A new kernel module that "encapsulates several different cryptographic algorithms," according to Microsoft.
"Black hole" router detection algorithm. XP gains the ability to ignore network routers that incorrectly report their network path information. This, too, is a feature of Windows Vista.

my business only have 1gb of ram
compared with xp of 1gb ram, the xp would surely own -
features from vista might nto be good. might end up eating so much resources like vista or jsut hang stuff

Upgrade and install...just remember to defragment your hard drive as well.

Upgrade for the Aero thing, you might as well use Linux, those using the KDE interface, like Kubuntu and Pardus. I very much like Pardus. Easy to use and nice interface. Best of all, wireless works! It's nicer and better than Aero, and less laggy and don't require a higher specs than Vista.
It worked on my P2, just needed some extra RAM so it doesn't lag so much.

DirectX 10 is for Windows Vista and higher only. XP is up to DirectX 9.0c.
