AMD AM2 vs AMD 939 processors

Which would you prefer if asked to build a PC using either of the processors? Why?

AM2 socket is the way, 939 socket EOLed since last year.There's very few choices left on the market.Besides that, most of the S939 mobo still use the obsolete AGP graphics card.Very room for future upgrade if you choose S939

Hmm... AM2. Kind of reluctant as it doesn't really offer much improvements over the socket 939 mobos.
But market also don't have much 939 mobos left. -

Processor:AM2 Athlonx2 4000
(personally prefer lowest processor because wanna try overclock)
anyway Amd new processor coming out in dec i heard xD
AMD pheonom or something the quad core amd version

There's also a ultra low power usage AMD processor out by end of this year.

anyway come out also no money buy hahaha,the mobo for the new processor also changed so i think need ta save more

my desktop is the AMD althon chip. Dunno what chip it is.
me supporter of AMD all the way, after my first pentium Pro PC. hoho
but my laptop is intel -
Laptops I support Intel. PC I support AMD. AMD, for some reasons, seem to be hotter on laptops and cooler on PCs.

got relations Processor and the operating system too, like for vista, the processor is hotter where as in xp cooler

how hot is an AMD in a laptop??? me got 82degrees when playing dota using Windows XP+Core2Duo T5500 1.66Ghz xD

Ideally, it shouldn't hit more than 60. Max to go is 65. -

Ambient = 0C
Temp 1= -55C
Temp 2 = 63C
Temp 3 = -2C
what does it mean?? -
