help! taskbar disappeared!

  what's happening?i tried rs-ing my com and still the same...and when i press the windows button the windows menu did not appear...but the menu "is" there as the current window will not be active when i press the windows button...

  Nah, restarting explorer won't work. Explorer is working. It occurs because his registry is corrupted, but it's a minor corruption.

  thanks...its a new hdd and still kena problem so fast...seagate not good?my previous 1 died within 2 months and is not at sim lim being checked if data can be recovered...
  
  the current 1 is under warranty frm the dead hdd...

  now the same thing is happening to my windows media player, msn and skype...when screenshot i see 2 screens...and my mouse cursor can go outside my monitor...i only have 1 monitor...how do i remedy this?
  
  i tried using the xp_taskbar fixer again but no use...

  It's you suay. Seagate hard disks don't die so fast.

  It's your dual monitor that's causing the problem... I have no experience with dual monitor... either you change back to using one monitor only or you wait for someone who knows to help...
