Why do I get this error when I try to access the website? I asked my friend to check but his is working perfectly fine... -

Whether or not you own the laptop is not my problem. But who's providing you with the Internet access?

I'm using my house connection. Wonder if it's the problem with my browser or computer?

take a look at ur firewall/router.Reboot them if necessary. -
Some website requires you to click and not save target.

But when I switched to the 2wire modem, I tried with both wireless and wired but to no avail. What should I do? -

Not that I know of. Have been using it for sometime already and this problem only arised recently. and what's weird is that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Access denied error is most likely due to firewall or some babysitter softwares of sort.
Usually caused by routers.
The latter problem is caused by your parents or ISP. If you signed up without reading properly, you might find yourself in that predicament. -

Parents doesn't know how to do such stuff and probably not ISP because the problem was gone after I changed my modem.
So Mayi is there anyway I can check if the firewall is indeed the root of the problem? Thanks!
