Laptop auto shutdown... pls help...

can anyone help me....
my lenovo laptop gave up on me again....
suddenly, it wil jus auto shut down while i'm using it without any notice/ sign... if i on it again it still wil shut down like after 10 mins...
i'm using the ac power... anyone knows what happen ???
how to solve it ??? what can i do?
my warranty is over and is so ex to bring to their service center... hate it... -

but mine was because of the motherboard, anddd the freaking warranty already ended. tsktsk, so.. i just dump the freaking laptop under my bed.

Lenovo without the IBM logo - as good as Acer. Cheap, good specs, but doesn't last long.
Lenovo with the IBM logo - lasts longer, quality better, but a tad more expensive. -

Sorry for interrupting, can i ask whats the difference with the IBM logo? Lenovo laptops with the IBM logo specs are poor when compared with other brands. Prices wise, it's a tad higher. Warranty is also longer. Typically 3 years, but could be extended to 5 years.
And they last, although somewhat heavy and ugly.
It's also heavier and as for now, is still selling XP machines.
The series also start with T, X or R.
Those without the IBM logo, has specs that are comparable with the other brands out there, warranty is 1 year (could be extended to 3 years if I'm not wrong), produced by Lenovo. The prices are also lower ($1000 odd for the average ones to low end ones, a few thousand for the higher end ones). They are usually Vista Home Premium or Vista Home Basic.
They also look nicer and lighter.
If you've been to the last PC Show, you will wonder why the prices have dropped drastically. That's because the IBM logo and promise for quality is no longer there.
The series start with Y or N (can't really recall). -
my acer laptop is the hottest of them all.

Fujitsu laptops using AMD processors are lagi hotter. Toshiba laptops also.

the auto shutdown is most probably due to the heat.
a piece of advise, try getting a cooler or something, or do ur work in aircon room, it helps. -
Lenovo = china brand = CMI

1 year and 3 months = very short life span.
Even my former acer lasted about 1 1/2 years before it's power adaptor went Dead. -

Lenovo Is Lenovo, while Although Ibm is under Lenovo Corp, the plants that manufacture Ibms are the same ones that were used before Ibm sold it's name to Lenovo, thus it makes a big difference. -
Confirm overheat.
I use to have this problem.
Then i used some air gun to clear the ventilator then ok liao.
the ventilator is clog up by dust. -

btw if anyone know those computer shop in shopping center can they troubleshoot & fix laptop ? any good suggestion ???
