Query: Error in Office 2004 on Mac OS X

  Hi all!
  
  Just installed Office 2004 STE on my Macbook. When i tried opening the Office programs, the following words popped up:
  
  "An unexpected error occurred while trying to load the Microsoft Framework library"
  
  What is the reason for this, does it affect the performance of Office programs?

  my general rule is never use MS products on mac os

  Ya, i heard this 'enigma' (so to speak) from other websites.
  
  I'm more concerned that iWork may not suit my uni work, but i haven't start using iWork yet so i won't know. I'll ignore the error in the meantime, until when Office 08 is released. MAYBE then i'll upgrade, just maybe...
