Omg how come so good deal! you rmb whats the price for view sonic 20inch / 19 inch?
I bought LG 19 inch at 299
went to the IT show just now.
Reached there at about 2.00pm.
Nt really that crowded.
It is only when it's 4.00+ pm then the crowd starts to swarm in!
knn!
someone go pinch my butt...
but i also had some fun
Go find small children and tap them on their shoulders
lol. I went there yesterday at 9.30. the guard at the door say cannot go in liao... then guess what...... those james bond shows finally came to good use. i infiltrated into the hall by my versatile movements and went straight to acer to buy the monitor that i wanted. too bad it is already closed. Beside it however, was a LG shop. There is this 19 inch monitor which is the same price as the 20 inch of acer but with a contrast ratio of 3 times that of acer. So i prefered to make my life good(like i have any choice acer is closed)

As for price difference, quite frankly, not all will agree with it. Speed wise, it's a great improvement, but only if you are not on the Internet. This means if you are sharing files within your home network (say transferring files from your laptop to your PC), the increase in speed will help. Internet bandwidth, on the hand is determined by the ISP. Having such a great speed is thus wasted.
Range wise, it has also been improved. Wireless signals will no longer be as weak if you are too far from the router (but that doesn't mean you can go too far away from the router). You no longer need extra range booster to boost the range.
But as technology improves... it will seem like buying now is not worth it... just like when wireless first came out... it was darn expensive. Now? Not so.
Some will say these improvements will be worth the price, some will say not...
I don't recommend Linksys at all, especially the Wireless G routers. With each newer firmware upgrade, more and more problems are introduced. I suggest you go for others.
By the way, need you to clarify something. Since you say you are using cable modem, I assume that you are a Starhub user? If so, yes, the product that you are looking at is compatible with Starhub cable modems.
Yup, using a cable modem but from Pacific Internet. Started with PI way before Starhub joined the market. Mine's 20 hours free per month. But I am willing to switch to Starhub even though with slightly lower bandwidth and unlimited use. Too bad I'm still stuck with PI's contract.
Ehhh, sorry empty post. Still unfamiliar with this new format.
But to reply mayi:

Oh... the Linksys router that you are looking at is compatible with Pacnet. In fact, all those on sale in Singapore are. Haven't seen that's not compatible...
Updated.
