  then put back dynamic address
  
  anyone can teach in-depth to get static address for Dlink-614+ router?

  How do u open many ports?

  How do i open more than 1? i tried doing Utor2 with same config but doesnt work

  Same configuration, different port numbers.
  
  There's only one unique port to be used at any one time.

  I've noticed that the download speed of torrent is not as fast as my usual download speed from direct downloads. Also, the download speed fluatates, sometimes quite high then drops to quite low. Any reasons as to why for my two questions?

  Torrent download speeds depends on two factors
  
  1. The number of seeds
  
  2. The number of leeches
  
  The higher the number of seeds, the faster your download. The reverse is true if the number of leeches is high.
  
  At different times of the day, there are different number of people seeding or leeching, which resulted in a fluctuate.
  
  As for why it's slow... it's caused by the seeding and leeching as well. Because it's a peer-to-peer technology, everybody is a server as well as a user. You as a server is limited by your ISP.
  
  For direct downloads, it's faster because more bandwidth are generally allocated to them, plus it's their purpose to serve, not do other things, which speeds up things a lot.

  Anyone tried using Flashget to download torrents?
  
  Its fantastic in my opinion. Just started dropping utorrent and moved to it recently.
  
  Very very light weight. uses less memory than utorrent.
  
  Best of all, its foolproof. No setup whatsoever is needed, and i achieve full speed too. Works well if your com is connected to your router by wire.
  
  Cons: Well, more accurately, theres no options for advanced setups. Not even port selecting i think. This means bad speed when connected to routers wirelessly.

  I have successfully setup a static IP, managed to port forward successfully, my download speed for Utorrent is going well!
  
  Just one more question; when I restart my laptop, do I have to go over the entire process of creating a Static IP all over again in order to port forward? Since I read somewhere the IP address changes everytime the comp is restarted..

  No. That only happens when you ask the router to assign an IP address automatically.

  If I may ask another question, is there any differences between having a Static IP and a changing IP (if that's what you call it)?
  
  Is one more stable then other in terms of connection (how often disconnections occur)?
